Bangle and Kada both are traditional Indian jewellery, which are quiet similar but differ in design and usage. Kada was mainly used as wristband by men and is more rigid. These rigid wristbands are now modified into light weight fancy kada for women. Women usually wore bangles, which is a circular, hollow or solid piece of jewelry worn around the wrist. While Kadas were mostly worn for religious or spiritual significance, bangles were worn for aesthetic or cultural reasons then. Women now prefer light weight fancy kadas, which are more like bracelets over the traditional heavier bangles.
