Kannada actor Nikhil Kumaraswamy and Revathi’s farmhouse wedding near Bengaluru has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. The high-profile wedding has received the wrath of people as it ensued amidst COVID crisis and national lockdown, and failed to follow the rules of social distancing.
Nikhil Kumaraswamy is the grandson of former Prime Minister and JD(S) supremo HD Deve Gowda and son of former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy ,while Revathi is the grand-niece of former Karnataka housing minister M Krishnappa. The two families extended their relationship as the duo got wedded on 17th April, 2020.
Pictures being widely shared across social media shows more people gathered at a place during the lockdown and guests not putting masks, thus violating the norms of social distancing. Well, pretty bride was adorned with exquisite diamond set and she looked as gorgeous as the jewel. Revathi chose trending ruby and emeralds for her wedding. She sparkled with the emerald-ruby diamond set ; she wore close cutting over-sized diamond jhumkas, lovely maang tikka with drooping emeralds, magnificent choker and a splendid rani haar. The 26 year old bride dazzled in her bridal attire!
Nikhil Kumaraswamy and Revathi got engaged in a grand ceremony on February 10, 2020, the couple’s engagement itself saw a huge crowd that attended the function at a private hotel in Bengaluru. The family had then told well-wishers to bless the couple from wherever they were, and that the couple would hold a reception for them once the lockdown and restrictions were lifted.
